Youth Mission Trip

We will leave on April 9 and arrive back on the 14. On Thursday, we will fly into Washington DC and drive to outside NYC. Friday we will spend in NYC at the 911 Memorial and other sights. Saturday we will drive back through Philadelphia and see Freedom Hall and the Liberty Bell. Saturday afternoon through Tuesday morning we will be in Washington DC.We have tickets to tour the Holocaust Museum on Monday morning and that is the only thing set at this time. We are planning on feeding the homeless for our mission project but we’re not sure what day that will occur.

Cans for Camp

Help us meet our goal for “Cans for Camp” by dropping off any clean redeemable pop or alcoholic beverage cans or bottles off at the back of the HCUM Church. We have provided several garbage cans out back to accept your donations. If you are unable to drop them off at the church, please contact the church at 641-877-4641 and we will make arrangements to pick them up. Your donation to “Cans for Camp” helps to send children to Bible camp each summer. Thank you for your support.

Please poke a hole in the bottom of the sack of cans before you drop them off so all the liquid drains out of the sack. This will help keep the sticky, stinky mess from getting all over Carla’s car, and when the workers dump out the cans to count them, no one will get messy from the drained cans and bottles in the sacks. Thank you.
